Hi, I live in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area, and as I'm sure most everyone knows a soon to be newly city served by Frontier Airlines. I was wondering and hoping someone could tell me how the advanced bookings are looking for the new BTR- DEN route....any info would be appreciated!
Thanks,

Hi there. It is a little too early yet. The route is still freshly announced, and it has not been in the system long enough to speculate how the loads are looking yet. BTR will be operated by Republic E170's. If the route proves to be a good one, I am sure F9 will upgrade to 318/319's.

F9Animal is right - it is too early to tell.

If you'd asked about DEN-SDF this far in advance of service, it might have looked as if the route would be a dog. In fact the reverse is true - it's been gangbusters out the gate.

So I'm wondering if your question is related to the other post about the high Frontier fares BTR-DEN-SLC over the Christmas week.

The answer might (a) it's Christmas week. That same route is $350 round trip all up in November.

(b) that they have amazing bookings for that week. That seems unlikely - this far out.

(c) they are expecting high bookings for that week. It may be possible they have some evidence of this. But you can get AA that week for $350 for that route, so that seems odd.

I think it is simply too far away. Give it a month or so. See what happens.
