It's good to see EY bringing its services forward, as GF finishes its services the previous day. With EY constantly expanding, the range of connections will only increase. I had always hoped EK and/or QR might fly to DUB, but with EI now flying to DXB, I guess EK is probably unlikely. It's important that we increase our eastbound links and I'm delighted to see Etihad flying to DUB. Hopefully, in time, frequencies will be increased and we might see 777s and/or A340s.

Well, first of all, congrats to DUB!.. And I envy you.. none of the growing M.E. carriers dare to set landing gear in CPH, even though CPH - no offense - is much bigger..  Sad

It must have slipped my mind that EI started flying to DXB; with an interline with EK? If not, they gotta be in for a tough one in the summer I reckon... With EY starting service, EI will have to fight for their money, too, even though GF is gone; EY will of course be a much tougher competitor.

Would there be any issues with the rwy length at DUB? IIRC a T7 can't make it to SIN from DUB, because the runway is just a bit short. I guess it would be possible if flights are only going to the Middle East though, or?

It's configured with 200 seats, was GF's 330s similarly configured? 200 seats shouldn't be a problem to fill especially with onwards connections being soaked up from GF's departure. Good luck to the is all I can say!

That's strange. Surely Denmark would have a comporable demand to the Gulf to Ireland?
