Sat May 19, 2007 1:31 am

A.net members,

Does AA fly 757s to Hawaii? Or do they plan to in the future?

Thanks
Tony

AA flies 757s on:

SFO-HNL (it swings to a 767-300 some seasons)

LAX-HNL (2x daily, sometimes more/less depending on season)
LAX-OGG (it swings to a 767-300 some seasons)
LAX-LIH (1x daily, sometimes 2x in some seasons)
LAX-KOA (1x daily, sometimes 2x in some seasons)

Commavia,

You got all but one - SFO-OGG. I'm not sure if it is yearound or seasonal, but they started this route a year or two ago after they dropped SJC-HNL/OGG.

AA does use their RR powered (& ETOPs certified) 752s from LAX and as a few others have pointed out to HNL and a few other island stops from LAX and SFO. Do they cover SEA-HNL or is that just NW (753?)? Anyhow, MAH4546 is the a.net AA expert and he can fill us in on AA from the west coast to Hawaii. The fact that AA utilized their 752 fleet in my estimation is what helped them get past DL for the #2 slot behind UA to the islands a few years back.  twocents

AA doesn't operate SFO-OGG anymore. Bummer.
