ASA Passenger Loads From HHH

Sat May 19, 2007 3:09 am

Hey, does anyone know how the ASA/Delta Connection flights are doing out of Hilton Head? I don't need to know exact numbers, but was just curious if it is profitable? Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Last time I checked, they were weight restricted to 25 or 30 pax. Has this changed at all? Every time I go down to the airport and watch, it seems the ATR's struggle to get off and climbout. It is nice to get some variety at HXD, those Piedmont Dash 8's get boring after a time.

From what I understand it's doing well. It is seasonal and if it does back we'll know just how well. ASA is supposed to dump the AT7's this year and without a replacement yet decided that will tell. I hope ASA get's the Q400 but as they have before they'll just extend the AT7's lease a little longer, which is more likely.
