In all honestly this is where I think both companies stand on this.
Boeing has the obviously better order books where the freight market is concerned.
Airbus has the obviously better order books where the passenger market is concerned.
The 748I has not sold that well so far, but I expect there are a few buyers still, but then those buyers could also buy the A380. BA
for example has not really publicly shown much interest in the 748I whereas they have with the A380.
Despite not meeting some targets, the A380 has sold relatively well, although it doesnt cover the cost of the project but then thats another story.
