As with last summer ORD-SFO and the occasional ORD-DEN, ORD-LAX, IAD-SFO they usually dont schedule those flights. Meaning you may book your ticket and it will say a 777 or 67, but when you show up at the gate you will get a nice surprise. They also will occasionally schedule one random flight so you will have to look for them. I use UA timetable on my desktop and just play around with it when I'm bored. I know that the scheduled ORD-SFO last year was scheduled so they could bring a plane in for maintenance checks

So if there would be a scheduled flight, it would most likely be SFO?

Last summer I was on a DEN-ORD 744 flight...haven't found it this summer in the schedule though...

Maybe my 02 B seat in F will be changed to Business or even First class of a 747.
