Hello Everyone today around 11:00am I was driving past Miami International Airport and I noticed a US Airways 767 parked at a gate at Concourse G I believe or F not sure. Anyways any info on why it is here?
US flew the 330 to MIA for a while when they were first introduced. It was for proving flights and crew training on domestic segments. I took it once or twice, and experienced the worst landing ever back in PHL on the return--landed hot and bounced 4 times.
I know they use Concourse H but this 767 was not parked at Concourse H I am sure of that. At concourse they had a US 737 and on the other side delta flights that's it. So it was definitely not concourse H.
I've been seeing some 762's popping up on some odd routes. For all of May thus far, 812 from CUN was a 762. Today I worked the flight and it was a 320. Smallest aircraft that has ran the route this month (and of course it was weight restricted 5400). Also a 76 ran TPA as a sub last week.
