It was US 9225 from CUN. It may have been a charter.

FlightAware says it was a diversion from CUN-FLL.

US Airways uses Concourse H at MIA, by the way--right next to the new Star Alliance Concourse J which is supposed to open by October.

Does anyone remember the days that US Airways would fly the A330 and 767-200 to Miami on a daily basis? Those were the good times. Didnt the flight then continue into Rome or Frankfurt?

US flew the 330 to MIA for a while when they were first introduced. It was for proving flights and crew training on domestic segments. I took it once or twice, and experienced the worst landing ever back in PHL on the return--landed hot and bounced 4 times.

I know they use Concourse H but this 767 was not parked at Concourse H I am sure of that. At concourse they had a US 737 and on the other side delta flights that's it. So it was definitely not concourse H.

Why wouldnt an international diversion go to concourse H? There is a customs area there still, isn't there? On another subject, how long has the "upstairs part" of concourse H been closed for?

I've been seeing some 762's popping up on some odd routes. For all of May thus far, 812 from CUN was a 762. Today I worked the flight and it was a 320. Smallest aircraft that has ran the route this month (and of course it was weight restricted 5400). Also a 76 ran TPA as a sub last week.
