Why Lockheed Did Not Keep Working On The A380?

Tue May 29, 2007 4:10 am

After the lunch of the Airbus A380 in 2000, Lockheed was looking into working with Airbus on the A380. For some reason this agreement did not go though. I think the A380 is a good plane, but a little help from Lockheed would have made better airliner. Also it could have help the US accept the A380 better. So why Lockheed did not help Airbus?

PS: This is not a slam on Airbus. Since I think they did a pretty good job on the A380, I just think Lockheed has a golden touch.
