Mexican budget airline Click, a unit of Mexicana, plans to stick with its current fleet of Fokker 100 jets even as it adds seven new routes this year, a top company official said Tuesday.
"One of the keys to a low-cost operation is having a homogenous fleet. At the moment we are operating 17 Fokker aircraft and our plans in the short and medium term are to continue with that fleet," said Isaac Volin, Click chief executive, at a press conference.
The company is always looking at options to expand its fleet, but "at this time no decision has been made in that respect," he added.
nothing on adding additional Fokker 100's. Wouldn't they add more, up to 6, exTAM Fokker 100 this year? They recently got the first one from TAM. Has it been reregistered yet?
