Info Needed - Sipa S-2510 Antilope

Wed Jun 13, 2007 5:12 am

Hi guys,

I'm desperately looking for information about what seems to be an amazing aircraft.

The SIPA S-2510 (sometimes calles just SIPA 251) is (was?) a french turboprop aircraft, IIRC with four seats, powered by ONE Turbomeca Astazou engine. It has a service ceiling of more than 10000m (33000ft). It has set several speed and altitude records for its class in 1964/65.

Here's some information about it (sorry, not everything in English):

If you have any additional information about it, whatever it might be, please post it!

But one thing I desperately want to know: Did it enter series production, and if yes, how many were built? Are there still flying examples?

Exceptions confirm the rule.
