Hong Kong Express: B738

Thu Jun 14, 2007 1:04 pm

Hi Guys, I am thinking of flying HKE aboard their new B738 from HKG to CTU in October. Actually wanted to get onto their E170's but they have all gone now and been replaced by the B738.

What I need to know is...have anyone flown on them? How are they comfort wise on the B738 in Y, I was thinking about J but the price was over 7000 HK dollars for a round trip to CTU.

Or should I just go for Dragonair on the A320?

Well I'll encourage you to fly on the 737, but of course I'm partial since I work on the 737 production line. The 738 is a very nice plane although I have never been inside one of Hong Kong Express' planes. But in the end, you always get ridiculously small seats with little legroom regardless of the plane.
If you have never designed an airplane part before, let the real designers do the work!

I have actually flown tons of time on B737 NG's but, most of them that I have been on has really pathetic legroom. But any word on the seat pitch for Hong Kong Express? Maybe you can get in touch with your colleagues on the fitting department ahahhaha  Smile Just a thought :P
