Just issued....

WestJet has been granted designation to fly scheduled service into San Jose del Cabo, Mazatlan, Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo and Manzanillo from Edmonton and Calgary, and to San Jose del Cabo and Manzanillo from Vancouver.

Sounds like the addition of sched mexico seasonal to the charters! They just keep on going.

Yea I think so far they spell nothing but success for the future. This past year thy're really taken off. They appear to like their red eyes too so I'd assume those have quite high flight loads. Looking online recently I see that most if not all major cities have red eyes some as many as I think 4 or 5.

About time. I've asked at least twice why WestJet isn't flying schedule flights to Mexico.

^I was surprised by no CUN and PVR also,even though they are operating to both year round on a charter basis from YEG and YYC.CUN is my second home....
