I assume by the timing that the return flight is a daytime flight? Not like the god awful timing of the EI flight to DXB which arrives at 4:30am...no thanks! I was in Dublin about 2 weeks ago, and thought of going to DXB, but was willing to spend about $20 more to connect through CDG and get better timings, but I just didn't have the, well, time.

Great to see DUB growing route-wise. Now they just need to get that new, non-crappy terminal in check and they're good to go!  duck

How is arriving at 4.30am soo bad? It means you have the whole day in DXB!

Just personal opinion...I don't sleep on planes, so it would pretty much kill me...not to mention the fact that you usually cant check into your hotel until, say, 2pm. And it also has a reverse effect - you have to leave Dubai at 7am to go back to DUB, whereas if the flight left at, say, 5pm, you'd have a whole day on that end. It all comes down to personal opinion, and to me, a 4:30am arrival is sheer hell.

I just find it amazing that after all these years there is now enough traffic to warrant a large aircraft from the Middle East to Ireland. And vice versa, that there's enought traffic out of Dublin.

Great to see DUB's route network expanding. It's all exciting stuff.
and with that..cabin crew, seats for landing please.

Ive heard that it was doing well. Were the fleet issues to blame?

I've heard a couple of things...1)aforementioned fleet issues 2)route doing well but yields were low...but I'm not so sure about that one...

Which type of A332 are they using?

1, 3 Class flagship EY specs?
2, 2 Class flagship EY specs?
3, One of A6-EYE/D which are 3 class but dont have their signature J and F?

Would anyone happen to know which type they are sending to BRU now with its dedicated service??The recent pics i saw on the database from May were all pretty much EYE/D-much to my horror! After enduring a long time on those ex TAM A332's finally my family and i could enjoy their signature product when the route become 2 class late last year but has that changed now or something? My wife is travelling next month to BRU and maybe i will join her-would surely be a massive dissappointment not to get to fly on those awesome flat beds.

Great to see EY on Irish soil. They are doing very well on summer bookings mainly to OZ and BKK. Also some small traffic to Pakistan.

These are a few photos i took on the 2nd flight.
