Easyjet Mid-air Incident?

Fri Jul 06, 2007 8:48 am

I was on the tube today ( Thu 5 Jul) and was reading a copy of Metro or Londonlite. There was a quote of the day which read something like "My life flashed before me, I thought it was the end.....".

Apparently it is quote from someone who was on an easyjet flight which fell 25,000ft while en route to PMI. The report went on to say that the aircraft landed safely in Toulouse.

I've checked various news websites, and the forum here, but nothing is mentioned. Has anyone heard of this incident?
and with that..cabin crew, seats for landing please.

According to a discussion on Pprune, it was a cabin depressurization, resulting in a quick
descent to get below altitude needed for the oxygen masks. It as an A319, although the
story in the paper showed a photo of a B733.

Here's a link
Not the best journalism I've seen - but particularly like the picture of the B737 in distress (Flight was a A319)
