One which won't go to Embraer. Surprising as Uruguay has close relation with Brasil !

Is it a kind of come back by Bombardier with the CRJ900 Next Gen on the regional market ?

Pluna didnt go for Embraer due to disponibily, IIRC Embraer doesnt have the possibility of deliver aircrafts until 2009 due to production is full, and CRJs will be here for the summer. Im wondering if they'll be new from factory?

They did make the interior more appealing, which is what people had against the CRJ in the first place. I hope they gather some momentum. But is this to little too late?

In fairness someone else started the same topic a few hours prior. Bombardier Sells CRJ900 To Pluna (by CRJ900X Jul 9 2007 in Civil Aviation)

Where will those CRJs be deployed once in service? Could those replace a few of the 732s that currently operate MVD-AEP?

I think CRJ sales will pick up over the coming years. A quick browse through Bombardier's news archive reveals that since January 2007, 113 aircraft have been ordered with 71 options. The CRJ700/900 is now in reliable service with several large well-known carriers, which gives the aircraft credibility and make it a viable contender when airlines are buying new aircraft.
