good luck to Vueling
it's an adorable airline!
I flew their first FCO-CDG and they offered everybody a glass of champagne and one of us won a free ticket: they did the lottery while we were cruising
also the crew was so friendly and nice compared to Easyjet jail wardens

hi MIgAiR54

Yes it's true they have cash backing them up but remember these companies are willing to risk their money but if they don't start to see some results they will let it die. After all they also have share holders who in the end will ask to justify those losses.

Remember you can have a full flight and still loose money. The way I see it is that their growing but loosing more and more money, I can understand in this business you can't expect a profit the first few years, but at the rate they're increasing their losses I wonder how much patience will the investors have. Remember one major investor has already pulled out ( and by the way cashed in at the expense on minor share holders who have seen the shares go down from 1st Jan by more than 22%) Several top managers have left the company and growth is starting to bite into their reputation as the start to have major delays and other logical problems. Go to google and put quejas vueling and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Vueling today announced that they will withdraw from CDG-AMS. No surprise at all, I was surprised when they actually started the route: competition from train and car is heavy, and then there still is AF-KL, to defend it's home-turf.

I wonder what will happen with AMS-AGP and AMS-ALC, as both flights were operated in a W-pattern by the CDG aircraft. ALC is still bookable, AGP isn't for now. Does anyone have more information?

Maybe when they open a FCO-base, they can add FCO-AMS and operate W-flights again, or maybe they will reschedule the SVQ-AMS flight.

yes, they do from MAD (4x week) and BCN(3 times a day) but i think both are seasonal routes.

good question, FR is already flying from GRO to TFN and FUE.

very difficult route, i think there are better routes to use this airplanes and slots, some destinations in north Europe and Germany could work very good.

or why not Paris to Canary Islands!!!!!!!!

saludos

As far as I can see on their website, AMS-ALC is still available until the end of the Summer 2007 timetable. AMS-AGP is also available in Winter but now originates AGP-AMS-AGP instead of AMS-AGP-AMS. The timetable seems to fit in between a BCN-AGP and an AGP-BCN flight.
