Aircraft Type Used On Routes In The Past

Tue Jul 17, 2007 12:20 pm

I am working on trying to complete a flight log of all commercial flight I have taken, and am wondering what aircraft types would have been used by the following airlines on certian routes:

1987: UA LAX-SEA
1992: AA SJC-SEA
1993: HP LAS-TPA-MCO (yes, I flew on this route twice that summer)

Thanks for the help..

1987 UA LAX-SEA: In 1989 it was only 727s on that route, and 1987 was probably similar.
1992 AA SJC-SEA: In 1989 it was about half MD80s and half 732s from AirCal. The 732s were around until 1993 so it was probably either the 732 or MD80 still in 1992.
1993 HP LAS-TPA-MCO: Most likely the A320, but the 733 and 752 are also possibilities.
Last Flight: SCX701 MSP-PHX B738 8Jan2008

I cannot remember the dates for the flights in 1987,

The AA SJC-SEA in 1992 was in December, and the HP LAS-TPA-MCO was in June and August 1993.

On a similar note, in August 88 I had a very hurried connection to board an Eastern flght MIA-MCO (had just made a late arrival from LGW on CO) all I vaguely remember was that it was possibly an A300 and was bound for PHL after MCO.

Can anyone confirm a/c type and if they can come up with a flight number ..even better. I think dep time from MIA was about 3pm local.
A300/319/320/346 ATR72 B722/732/3/4/5/6/8/742/4/752/762/3/772/3 BAC111 BAe146 C172 DHC1/6/8 HS121 MD80 PA28

Quoting KBFIspotter (Thread starter):
1987: UA LAX-SEA

3/87: five 72S, one D10
8/87: four 72S, one 727, one D8S
11/87: three 72S, one 727, two 73S (says the OAG-- I suspect they meant 733)

Quoting KBFIspotter (Reply 4):
AA SJC-SEA in 1992 was in December

In 1/92 AA still had one 733 along with the M80s, but the 4/92, 6/92 and 4/93 all show all M80s.

Quoting KBFIspotter (Reply 4):
HP LAS-TPA-MCO

In 4/93 and 9/93 HP 756 was a 757.

Quoting EDICHC (Reply 5):
an Eastern flght MIA-MCO

The August EA timetable says EA 870 flew SJU-MIA-MCO-PHL-YYZ, leaving MIA at 1620. The EA timetable just says it's a widebody; in the 6/88 OAG it's an A300. In the 10/88 OAG, no EA flight MIA-MCO-PHL.
