Same Day Flts On 787 And 380

Wed Jul 18, 2007 1:17 pm

Assuming I want to be the first person in the world to fly on a 787 and a 380 on the same day, where would be the best place to position myself? Sorry if the question seems a bit trivial but I have nothing to do this afternoon, and I thought anybody on here in the same boat might like to opine as to where I should be. Thanks.
G'day

The best bet would be to wait until Boeing comes up with their proving runs where they are taking pax along for the ride. Then you could start worrying about the A380/B787 day!

I think the A380 will start on LHR-SIN-SYD, and that the first four 787's are destined for NH and NW in pairs of two. How the 787's entry into service will correspond with the 380 remains to be seen, does it not?

HMMMM good question. You could possiby HAVE to be in Singapore to fly the SIN-LHR and then (hopefully) could take ANA's 787 to NRT from LHR.
