MUC-DEN And MUC-ICN/PUS Load Factors

Mon Jul 30, 2007 8:08 pm

According to data from the German Statistical Agency (sorry I lack better word for "Statistisches Bundesamt") the load factor on MUC-DEN has been 87% and on MUC-ICN/PUS 86% of the seats have been sold. All data for April 2007.

Even though the data is (afaik) not fully accurate, it doesn't look bad ...

"Buddhistisches Standesamt"  Wink - (Federal) Statistics and Census Office should be right.

I would consider that an understatement. 86/87 % are bloody well for a full service carrier.

Are these stats available online? How did MUC-YUL do in relation, as well as MUC-BOS/CLT?

Same source:

MUC-YUL: 81%
MUC-BOS: 83%
MUC-CLT: 89%
MUC-JFK: 90%
MUC-LAX: 92%
MUC-SFO: 94%

Please note that the original data states only the number of passengers, load factor are computed by someone on the MUC-Forum using normal equipment. Thus equipment changes can distort the data.

Strangely enough I was talking with a friend who worked at the Airport yesterday about this. What I heard from him was that LH was ecstatic about how well their routes have been doing, but are not happy with the hot/high performance of the A343 on the route. The 346 and the 744 seem to be okay.

Good, then they can upgrade the route to a 346 :P
