Emergency Landing At EDI This Morning

Tue Jul 31, 2007 3:22 am

I'm surprised nobody has already mentioned this:

Didn't they have to make an emergency landing at MAN on this route a couple of months ago? They don't seem to be having much luck!

Anybody know which aircraft it was?

I spoke to someone at the airline regarding the incident at MAN. Said it was something to do with engine/prop computers that forced a shut down then.

Could be the same thing this time but who knows...................................

Engine failure on a BE Dash 8-Q400 - no big deal. Landed safely - good job one and all.

Anyone know which a/c it was? Am not a fan of the Dash-8 especially the Flybe one that I went to Edinburgh on. What a bone shaker !!!!!!
