Sorry no way to find a link in French

Armavia will receive 2 A320s before yearend and an A330 in 2011.

They plan to open Erevan - Tokyo + Beijing + Los Angeles

Probably more 330s to come or 787s or A350XWBs.

About time, it would be wise to advertise in Glendale (an adjacent city; home to 80,000 Armenians)

AF makes a killing on their Los Angeles-Paris-Yerevan service, hopefully they can steal some of this traffic.

That's not the first time, that they have plans to get an A330:

Armavia (U8/Yerevan) is planning to add an A330-200 to its fleet later this year.

Didn't they use to code share with CityBird back in the days to LAX?

Here's an link in English:

From another website, in this interview Bagdassarov has stated that the 2 A320s will be recieved new from Toulouse around April 2008. I checked the Airbus orders and didn't find any Armavia orders there.

The LAX plans seem to be serious since they've been talking about it for some time (at least 2 years) and the May 2006 crash of one of their A320s may have affected to the delay.

It was VG Airlines/Delsey. These flights via BRU had a high load factor !

Yes i met so many Armenians when I lived in Burbank. Great to see Armavia expanding and Armenia in general.

That was with Armenian Airlines which the state closed it down a few years ago and handed over routes to private operators, including Armavia.
