Grumman G-159 Gear Up Landing 7/30/2007 Video

Found an interesting video of G-159 landing with partial gear up. The Grumman G-159 was on a military flight from San Nicolas Island to Point Mugu.

Thanks for the link...interesting vid...who operated the G-I???? It seems to have an N-number written on the tail, plus Im not sure any branch of the US armed forces flies any G-I currently, so clearly its from a civilian agency, even though the article says it was a "military flight"...

I'd fly on that pilots aircraft anytime. What poise and skill.

Nice landing. I love the GI. Wish I could fly one. Been in on at KBVI though, doesn't fly though.

Thats actually a G-159C (G-1C) which was a modified stretch version for commuter service, but only 5 were modified that way. A very rare version of the G-1. It looks like it could be this aircraft, but I think Phoenix has a few G-1Cs:
