Last thursday at YVR a friend who works on the ramp said that Zoom had a APU fire. The pilot pulled the fire bottles to put out the fire. The fire department was there right away to check everything was all right. Whey opened hatches and found nothing except the smell of smoke. I'll ask which 767 was involved.

Quoting Qblue (Reply 1):

Ironically, it was "City of Vancouver" aircraft

Zoom has been having some serious problems and delays lately due to all these problems. My family that came from POS to YYZ was delayed over 13 hours because I believe the aircraft was struck by lightning a few days earlier as someone had mentioned previously. I believe the Radome had to be replaced? Can anyone confirm which 767 this was?
