Airline Passenger Hides Monkey Under Hat...

Wed Aug 08, 2007 11:32 am

Airline passenger hides monkey under hat, smuggles it into NYC airport

"A man smuggled a monkey onto an airplane Tuesday, stashing the furry fist-size primate under his hat until passengers spotted it perched on his ponytail, an airline official said.

The monkey escapade began in Lima, Peru, late Monday, when the man boarded a flight to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., said Spirit Airlines spokeswoman Alison Russell. After landing Tuesday morning, the man waited several hours before catching a connecting flight to LaGuardia Airport."

I think the monkey needed some freedom so why not hitch a ride to the US.

What, no ANCFlyer jokes?

Maybe the hat did say something like "US Military - retired" on it although I can't really imagine CSM Pepper with a ponytail.

When this gets booted to Non Av maybe we can get the photoshop out.

Only on NK could this happen.... I would have loved to been on that flight. I would have played with that little monkey. I wonder if NK charged the man for a Y class ticket?

....Correction....Why didn't TSA Notice it??? Seems their more concerned about making sure 3.5 onces of hand creme doesn't get past security and then they let a monkey by.....guess it show that.TSA stands for...THOUSANDS STANDING AROUND.

Well, considering we are are genetically very similar to many monkeys, what should the TSA have noticed?
