What Is Going On With CV-880 N815AJ?

Sun Aug 12, 2007 5:30 pm

Earlier today I was looking at pictures of N815AJ and noticed that the tail and front part of the plane have been painted.

Does anyone know why it's been painted? Is this 880 going to survive?

I talked to the owner sometime back and he stated he wanted to paint on side in TWA and the other side on Delta and put in front of MHV next to the 990 and now F-4 for display. Considering now that is the only intact TWA 880 I hope it happens, but I have hear the owners health isn't to good.
