Macau Asia Express Selects A320

Low cost airline, Macau Asia Express announced the leasing of six Airbus A320-200 aircraft in order to begin operating in the first quarter of 2008. A statement from the company published Tuesday said that first aircraft would be delivered in December and the other five by the beginning of 2009. Macau Asia Express plans to have a fleet of 11 aircraft by 2010.

Lessor is Aircastle Ltd, shareholder in this venture is Air Macau amongst others. A bit surprising given that Air Macau itself isn´t large, but might be the best way to protect their "main carrier".
