I have watched the BBC show AIRLINE on my home TV channel and they feature Easyjet and London Luton.I would say their service is quite good, expect something like Southwest I think as they have a pretty quick turnaround, like 30 minutes or something.their service to me is top-notch and Luton has few jetways so most times you would board from airstairs.

Enjoy your trip!

I flew Easyjet round trips Luton-Nice earlier this year and Luton-Geneva last year.

All my flights have operated on time and the 737's have been clean.

If you need cabin service on such a short hop, it is generally efficient and reasonably priced.

Break your ticket price into a cost per mile to see what a deal you have!

Luton is also a bit of a gem in terms of an airport, with ever improving transport links.

There are no jet ways at Luton so you get to board the plane in the proper way, via airstairs.

There are also no seat allocations, the plane being boarded on the basis of how early you checked in i.e pax 1-50 first, then the rest. My top tip is, get there for the early boarding, but board at the rear - most people get on from the front. You'll should then get a window seat with views over all the wing goings on and you'll get cabin service first from the rear galley.

Enjoy the flight.

Last week i saw Easyjet in Zurich. Their turnaround must be something like 25 minutes.
The plane taxied in and was at the gates for about 20 minutes and the taxied out and departed. That was quick.

Nothing wrong with little old easyjet. I am proud of them for starting the little revolution in European air travel. They are the Southwest of Britain, no doubt.

The only thing holding them back is Luton, which is a nice small airport, but inconvenient to get too, with a short runway and no parallel taxiways. As long as the charter airlines stay out of EZ's hair, then they will have enough room for a few years, and there is a new terminal being built. But long term, I think they will find it tough turning into a large European airline out of there. I, and 7 million others living in London, am 30 mins from LHR, 1 hour from LGW, 90 mins from STN and about 2 hours from LUT. There is no direct train like the other three. But EZ are stuck because the SE of England has such a lack of airport space.

They are smart building up ops out of Liverpool, Geneva etc. I hope to fly LGW-GVA for about £50 this autumn. Long live EZjet

I flew on EasyJet this summer from Luton to Inverness.
It took me about 1.5 hours from central London to Luton. In Luton it seemed to me that they have a new terminal with much capacity left. The bigger problem for EasyJet is probably the runway in Luton. I read in EasyJet's inflight magazine that in a few years their fleet consists of 44 aircraft (now I think they operate about 17).

I flew Easyjet from London Luton to Nice in April 1999. Flight was a 737-300. Both flights were on time. Luton was annoying to get to, but transport links
have improved very much since then I hear. Don't expect much in the way
of service. It's really Southwest style, but very competent and I had no real
problems.
