Nothing wrong with little old easyjet. I am proud of them for starting the little revolution in European air travel. They are the Southwest of Britain, no doubt.
The only thing holding them back is Luton, which is a nice small airport, but inconvenient to get too, with a short runway and no parallel taxiways. As long as the charter airlines stay out of EZ's hair, then they will have enough room for a few years, and there is a new terminal being built. But long term, I think they will find it tough turning into a large European airline out of there. I, and 7 million others living in London, am 30 mins from LHR, 1 hour from LGW, 90 mins from STN and about 2 hours from LUT. There is no direct train like the other three. But EZ are stuck because the SE of England has such a lack of airport space.
They are smart building up ops out of Liverpool, Geneva etc. I hope to fly LGW-GVA for about £50 this autumn. Long live EZjet
