German Transport At YYZ?

Mon Aug 20, 2007 11:31 am

Good Evening,

Was spotting tonight and noticed a prop aircraft by the skycharters on the north side of the Airport. There was german flag on the tail, what type of AC was this, and why would it be in Toronto!

Any help would be great!

Cheers

Could it be this one? They seem to stop by about once every year or so. Don't know why. Something to do with NATO exercises maybe?

Quoting GoBlue (Thread starter):
what type of AC was this,

C160 Transall - a pre Airbus French-German Cooperation.
It is going to be replaced in a few years by the A400M.
It will forever be a McDonnell Douglas MD 80 , Boeing MD 80 sounds so wrong
