The Alienair Plane - What's The Deal With It?!

Saw it on the A.Net homepage this morning - and it reminded me of an article I read a few years ago.

It's an interesting looking AC but can it actually fly or is it just a concept. I tried to googe it but could not come up with any decent info.

Can anyone shed any light on this 'thing'?

Is there a website for the manufacturer?

RODGER D PARKER
(Individual)
SANTA ROSA VALLEY, CA 93012 US
(Ventura County)

Shows as a single seat single lycoming engine aircraft with a reg of n116rp. See two aft fans and looks like a fan buried in the nose along with a canard/wing setup worthy of Burt Rutan. Can't find a website or any other data...appears to be a one of a kind so far.

If those aft fans do lift up and rotate for forward then I would suspect a good stol capability but with good forward speeds with the canard/wing config and a retractable front wheel while mains are fixed but enclosed in fairings.
