Which Airline Has The Largest Operations At LGA?

Which airline has the largest operation at LGA?

I am curious to know who has the largest in term of daily flights, passengers, and cities served.

Thank you.

I did a search but could not find this specific topic.

Focus city for Delta Air Lines, American Airlines, and US Airways. It's one of them for sure. I'd have to bet on Delta though

Total passengers per year at LGA:

1.) AA (including Eagle): 6,119,754
2.) DL (including Shuttle, Comair, Connection etc.): 5,177,419
3.) US (including Shuttle, Piedmont, Colgan, Chataq etc.): 4,496,749

I'm curious, what was it like around 1993-1994?

And where did AA get all of these slots?

In '94, IIRC,
they only flew to

MIA
RDU
BNA
DFW
LGA
and that's it I think

and how much of a pulldown AND WHY has LGA had from US?

I'm pretty sure they would have flown at the very least to ORD as well. They would have picked up quite a few slots from the Business Express purchase, as well as a number from TWA. Moreover, they also picked up some for American Eagle when the slot limitations for LGA were relaxed for RJ's back in 2000.

Getting Business Express away from DL and taking over their slots was a big part of the puzzle as mentioned, also the TWA takeover. They also won the slot lottery in 2000 which forced some airlines like CO to drop some routes they added like Greenville etc..

....they've been flying ORD-LGA for many years now...certainly back in 1993-1994, as I've flown them a bunch of times on that route back then.. yes

A little of topic, but I thought UA had a bigger presence at LGA.

Where is UA's biggest NYC operation, JFK, LGA or EWR?

Business Express would have been Number 1 for departures

None of the above in reality....
LGA.... 29
JFK..... 22
EWR... 19
