Is Scat BAC111 Still Flying?

Sun Sep 02, 2007 1:25 am

Can't locate the answers from google search. What are the current and past routes of SCAT BAC111? Thanks for the data in advance.

Scat??!! I can't see them ever doing much business with a name like that! It has a rather disgusting meaning in English at least, I don't know about anywhere else !!

I beleive they are still flying two leased BAC 1-11 500s. I hope to try for a flight on one in the next few months but Kazakhstan seems to be an expensive place to get flights to.

Try a search here first, there have been several threads about it.

Likewise, the only worrying thing is that SCAT's schedules are not available past the end of October. Hopefully that will change; at the start of November I'l be heading there to try and fly it! The fares don't seem too excessive, although I did note that Air Astana from Dubai was rather pricey, but I wouldn't mind paying a couple of hundred $ if it's going to be the 1-11.

I tried the SEARCH here with A.Net but the only thread that came out is this one. Any other alternative? Thanks for the info.

Yes, SCAT is still using the B11 equipment.

Seen at TSE this past week ready for a flight to ALA.

More info about schedules and timetables...

Thanks RAFVC10. Now I need a translator of Russian alphabet into Roman alphabet. Based on the classic SU markings,
there are similar letters like A, O, T; then almost similar like E is facing backwards but looks like number 3; L is rotated and looks like an inverted V; R lost it's tail and appears as letter P; any other translations? any website that helps translate Russian alphabet to Roman alphabet? Thanks for the info.

What do you need to know? Destinations? Schedules? Timetables?
