BA 'Hope And Glory' LHR-CDG Today

Mon Sep 03, 2007 10:52 pm

BA are sponsors of the English Rugby Union Team. Today (Monday) they are flying the team from LHR to CDG. On their web site:
http://www.britishairways.com/travel/bapress/public/en_gb
there is a press release saying that the aircraft used has been named "Hope and Glory" for this flight and (?) perhaps a little longer.

Does anyone know which aircraft this is. Presumably it is a 320 or 321?

I assessed it was most likely to be a 320 (which was the type used by BA to fly the English soccer team to their World Cup in Germany) or a 321 because a rugby team has 36 per cent more players than a soccer team and the average size of your average rugby player is about 36 per cent larger than your average soccer player. I thought that these two factors ruled out the 319 and made the 321 more likely than the 320!

Okey, didn't think in that way.
