What Will Be KL MD11 Routes Next Year?

Tue Sep 04, 2007 10:59 pm

Hi!

I'm now preparing my trips for next year, and one of them will take me to North America ( either Canada or USA ) and I was just wondering if KL will use the MD11 in some routes over North America...I noticed that YVR was operated by the MD11 but I don't know if the MD11 will still be there or not. I flew once in a MD11, from ZRH to LAX with SWISS ( HB-IWM ) and I wouldn't mind to try it again if that's possible! Besides that I don't know what other airline could "help me " on that...AY??? Do they fly also to the West Coast?
Regards

Simple answer is no. Back in 1999 both SR and AY flew to San Francisco with MD-11's but since then the service has been suspended.

Any chance of KL flying to Asia with the M11s?

Also are they getting new interiors and PTVs? If so, I'm there!

KL 871/872 AMS-DEL-AMS is an MD-11 during the summer time.

I am not sure of other Asian destinations!

Unfortunately not, AY used to fly to SEA, LAX and SFO once. All their MD11's (7) will retire by the end of 2010, first will go next year.
