This news is a little old and have been trying to recruit in Dubai for several months in the airline press...
Them flying to LTN
is still a rumour and has not been confirmed. There is speculation LTN
will also be the next route they fly.
They were supposed to annouce their second destination during August, but nothing got announced, and also one of their 762's went tech and had to suspent their 2nd service between LTN
until the 25th September.
They are running short of time and leaving it a little late if they intend to start a new route from November...
I just hope SilverJet know what they are doing if they launch LTN
, as I think they will really feel the pressure from Emirates which offer a more superior product in both First and Business class. They also boast about nine flights a day and SilverJet will never be able to match this frequency, also much of the traffic on this route is connecting
- where SilverJet is looking for the O&D market!
