Great. So I guess HAM won't be cut next summer. Just one question (slightly OT): will SJO continue to be operated by TS this winter?

YVR-YYC-CDG A330 1 weekly

So there will be 2 weekly YVR-CDG? Cool.
Previous press release just mentioned 1 weekly YVR-CDG. The extra flight via YYC must be the bonus!

So they are pulling out of MAN and GLA completely?

Based on what the schedule shows right now... it looks like MyTravel/Thomas Cook will take care of those destinations to Canada under the Canadian affair program (which Transat owns)

HAM I think is getting a slight reduction (2 to 1 freq)

Thought I read somewhere that MY Travel and Thomas Cook are merging as well?

And Skyservice has just been taken over by Vancouver-based Gibralt Capital Corp (owned by the mighty Belzberg family). Be interesting to see what they do with it (if anything at all).

For the summer, although TS operate all MAN and GLA - YYZ services over the winter 07/08 (for Canadian Affair). It looks like there's a small drop in capacity next summer; Flyglobespan are said to have done well between MAN, GLA and YHM this year which is bound to have affected TS/TCX.

Hard to believe there's a market there.
I dumped at the gybe mark in strong winds when I looked up at a Porter Q400 on finals. Can't stop spotting.

It seems this flight operates only in high summer, and there's bound to be demand for VFR and tourist traffic both ways between the UK and New Brunswick in July and Aug, so it's probably worth TS trying it out for a season, especially if the flight originates in YYZ or YUL.

I think Corsair operate betwen CDG and Moncton, which I assume is a more Francophile place (?)

LHR flights are continuing aren't they? What about EDI - will it be TS or TCX?

I'm pretty sure these will be stopping in YHZ.

I hope YOW-CDG becomes a full May-Oct summer season next year.

Just out of interest, when was the last time that Montreal was linked with Ireland? I didn't think that YYZ - DUB/SNN had a particularly long history.

EDI-YYZ every Wednesday between May and Oct on a TS 310.

LHR-YYZ increases to Fri, Sat and Sun with 310s - this year it's just Sat and Sun, and there's no service during the winter. I think this has to be Heathrow's oddest route. They're up against both BA and AC, yet obviously it's worth creaming off some of the leisure traffic during the peak months.

...so what kind of coverage we can expect to have from Thomas Cook/MyTravel to YUL next summer?

Thanks!

Actually are MT & VZ lower cost providers than TS? I was thinkng that labour in Canada would be significantly cheaper in the UK.

Aerlingus in the late 1960's with the B720/B707, not sure of the exact years though. I think the flight continued on to ORD from there.

Yes, the flight will be operating through YHZ and only during peak season.

Moncton-Paris has been operated during peak season (once a week) since 1999, first by Canada 3000, then by Royal, then by Corsair. The flight is routed through YUL. The flight is always full.
Next flights: YQM-YYZ-YOW v.v. / YQM-CUN v.v. / YQM-YUL-YWG v.v. / YSJ-YYZ-SEA-SFO / SFO-YYZ-YOW-YQM / YQM-YYZ-MUC-TXL /

I've heard the rumour about TS possibly opening YUL-VLC on an A310,

any insider about it?
