Questions Regarding LAL

Thu Sep 13, 2007 11:05 pm

Regarding LAL, what is its present passenger terminal’s maximum annual capacity? And how many 737/320-sized aircraft could concurrently park? Thanks.

RE: Questions Regarding LAL

I dont believe LAL has a terminal. I could be wrong.

Every year the Sun N' Fun fly-in happens and LAL becomes the busiest airport in the nation with hundreds of movements a day. Gates could be found easy and maybe erect a tent like Skybus has in St. Augustine until a terminal could be built. Lakeland could make a great destination for those airlines looking for a out of major city market. Tampa is only 45mins going W on I-4. Orlando is probably 1 1/2H east on I-4. Not to mention Lakeland is a beautiful town.
