Airshow Crash At Shoreham, West Sussex

Sun Sep 16, 2007 12:35 am

Not much information yet, but early reports say it was a WW2 era aircraft engaging in a mock dogfight.

No information on the status of the pilot.

A real tragedy for the man's family and this important piece of aviation history. Very sad.

This was a shock to hear, especially at my training airfield. I was hoping to attend but chose LGW instead.

May the pilot rest in peace.
