Were W9s flights (by 732s and 73Gs) restricted from TTNs 6,006-foot runway? If they were, in what way? Thanks.
Even through a 73G's max takeoff weight might have been less than max structural, a short flight TTN
(or any other destination less than 3 hours away) would have had them limited by structural max landing weight (MLW) at GSO
On the 732, they too may have been landing weight limited out of TTN
, but without knowing what kind of engines they were running (-9, -15, -17) and what kind of specific obstacles (if any) are around TTN
, it's impossible for me to say if they may have been further restricted by takeoff weights at TTN
. One can't just look at runway lengths and field elevations.
