Looks like the hydraulic system problem is un-fixable at this time so another 752 is being ferried in from DFW.

Not a fun day for the Cowboys.

Hmmm. FlightAware shows that plane as landing at 5:44PM CDT, but also shows 9404 airborne again at 5:43PM CDT. Did they fix it?

Please dont let Romo be hurt i need him for fantasy football. When airlines charter for teams do they change the seats or the coaches get first class and the rest of the team is in coach?

Yeah, I saw that. I am listening to the archived tower tape right now trying to determine if 9404 left before 9628 got in.

Keep in mind you may be looking at two unrelated flights. The Saints are playing out of town, so it could be the flight in to pick them up. Not sure who they use. It could be a second plane in the charter. I've seen the Titians do that here in BNA. One plane has the team, coachs, trainers... one has fans, friends and family

Well, no doubt about it, 9404 was moving before 9628 got in.

Guess we'll need somebody at MSY or AA to tell us what happened.

And now I see, 9628 is set up to continue to MIA.

Man, the departure out of DFW of that empty B752 must have been awesome!  Smile

I believe it is normally some of the coaches and some of the starters up front. They usually take a big enough plane that each player in coach gets a row to themselves to stretch out.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) --
"We had a hydraulic problem on our plane. We got it fixed," team spokesman Rich Dalrymple said.

The Boeing 757 landed shortly before 3 p.m. and left about 5:45 p.m., airport spokeswoman Michelle Duffourc said.

"Some of the guys got off the plane but a lot of them stayed on," Dalrymple said.

Another plane was sent from Dallas-Fort Worth to New Orleans to pick up the team, American Airlines spokesman John Hotard said.

But Dalrymple said it turned out not to be needed.

Must've been fun to 'joyride' in an empty 752! Probably one of the most expensive joyrides in history, though  Smile
