Cape Air @ IND Connection Question

Tue Sep 18, 2007 10:28 am

IND today release details to the press about the Cape Air service. It was stated that the flights were schedule to allow passengers to make connections with partner airlines NW, DL and CO. Will these require separate ticket purchases with those three airlines or will their be a code share agreement?

Thanks in advance.

It is possible code share agreement. It is more sense to do that rather than recheck and get another boarding pass.

Cape Air is flying at IND? What are they operating?

Ahh the fab C402 of Cape Air. Enjoy them as it is a true experience to be treasured! Cape Air is a first class outfit, I fly them in the TPA-RSW market and have for around 4 years now. Their safety record is incredible and the wonderful employees true ambassadors for aviation.

I really want to be on that first flight. But I'm torn between spending $86 and trying to get my credit card paid off lol.

They're bringing the Cessnas way out here? Huh.

Are these flights codeshareing with anyone, or is it just at-risk flying for Cape?

I doubt it is at-risk flying. I believe there was a grant given for this service. The report did mention partner airlines. I don't know if this is a codeshare or not. Still trying to find that out.

This service is a long-term grant (2 years I believe) of I believe $1.6M to provide service between IND-SBN & IND-EVV. The original grant was run by Chicago Express, but only for a few months (if at all) before they were shut down by TZ.
