Il-96 In DoubleTree/Hilton Hotel Ad

Wed Sep 26, 2007 8:29 am

So I was walking to the elevator here in the Doubletree in CHO (i'm doing my SOE on the Dash-8 right now) and I see this add for hotel points and airline miles etc. Well it's a picture of a guy sitting in a terminal with two big trees (in the Doubletree logo) and taking off in the background is an II-96. I couldn't quite make out the scheme on it but I just thought it was interesting to see a Russian plane on an American hotel ad.

Maybe it's part of Hilton's expansion plan in Russia...
Excess baggage? Oh come on...
