Smoke in the cockpit prompted this diversion.

Appears the flight continued to DCA after 2 hours and 15 minutes emergency stop in CMH?

Correct. The people were deplaned while mntc looked in to the problem, which turned out to be something insignificant.

A precautionary landing due to FA's saying the side panel area near row 24A was "very hot" and smelled "electrical." Maintenance could find nothing wrong --not a surprise as not much electrical or otherwise is in that area-- and placarded both the PowerPort system as well as all electricity in the aft galleys. Plane departed shortly thereafter with no further problems being reported since that flight.
