Great to see FLL growing again. Spirit is really pumping it up, and the growth isn't anywhere near over. Spirit will be adding more than a dozen new destinations from FLL next year. And it is interesting to note that FLL now handles more international passengers than Orlando, and that gap is getting wider and wider.

I've said it before and I'll say it again absolutely nobody books a flight based on an airline's livery.

I forgot to add, about the growth being nowhere near over. FLL is getting very close to its limits and FLL officials need to to some major expansion quickly and hopefully while they're at it they can add a decent customs facility so we can get some long-haul flights.

Spirit can keep adding flights...They use a handful of gates now in the American Concourse...They need to build a way so they don't have to go through security again...

As for Orlando...If they didn't have all the UK traffic there would be next to nothing in international traffic there...If only FLL could maintain some sort of European flights... =(

2008 traffic should grow at an even faster rate than this year. Next year capacity will be higher on Southwest, American, and Frontier. JetBlue and Spirit's numbers will be way way up. Allegiant will be operating for a complete year, as will Skybus.

On a side note, I wonder how much frequency the new NK flights will run at. I can't see many of the new destiantions having daily service, ouside of Panama City and San Salvador. The other destinations are smaller and I would think they would only run at about 1-4 weekly flights (ie Roatan)

Aren't they extending Terminal 4 just for Spirit?
