Probably has something to do with the fact that "B" is the Int'l terminal.

CO has a codeshare agreement with Virgin between EWR-LON. There simply was not enough room for VS in Terminal C, so CO moved their LGW flights to B, where VS has been for some time. It is important that CO/VS operate nearby, as both carriers own half the seats operated by the other. To avoid any confusion among passengers, both airlines operate from the same terminal.
