Loads JNB-OZ.

Mon Oct 08, 2007 3:00 pm

Hey just a quick question for any guys/girls from QF/SA out there.

I commute from OZ (home) to UK (work) once every month or two and the SE asian routes are becoming more and more busy and unpredictable.

Someone suggested flying from OZ-UK via JNB instead. Can anyone from QF give me an idea if the SYD-JNB route is a good one for staff travel? And likewise, anyone from SA able to give me info on whether PER-JNB is a good bet?

Always happy to return the fave with BA loads  Wink

JNB can be hideous for staff travel, depending on the time of year. Any time around peak (November/December/Jan) is a nightmare - SYD-JNB and JNB-LHR are booked chokkas for months. Your best bet for staff travel Oz-UK is via Japan, normally. Layovers can be a pig, but you'll probably get on.
