Cubana Tu-204F At YYZ

Tue Oct 23, 2007 1:58 am

A few weeks ago there was a thread about Russian aircraft visiting North America in which mention was nade of Cubana's new Tu-204s. There was speculation that they might be used on the HAV-YYZ route.

Well, it's already happening. Not on their passenger flights, but on cargo flights. Cubana 9180/9181 uses their Tu-204F, CU-T1700 on Wednesdays and Sundays. Unfortunately, it arrives at about 9 pm, EDT, and heads back to Havana 2 hours later. This flight used to be operated by Flair with a B727

So I'm afraid we won't be able to see pictures of this beauty at YYZ...

Thats right - not before June anyway. It has been here in daylight on a couple of unscheduled occasions, but I haven't seen it myself, and there are no photos of the plane in the database.
