With the announced B787 delay being said, how does this affect Continental's future route expansion? They were probably
banking on the 2009 delivery and if a further delay were to develop, would more B767/B777 aircraft need to be acquired as a stop gap measure?

And CO wasn't taking any until April or May 2009 IIRC. I think they will still get them then.
First 787 flight delayed,
The Boeing Company disclosed this
week that the first flight of the 787 will not
take place before mid-November and
could slip to mid-December, the Seattle
Post-Intelligencer reported on Wednesday.
Despite the delay, Boeing expects to still
deliver its first 787 to CO in 2009.
