I know that ASA has at least 3 (CRJ-200's):

They had a 757 1/2 way painted, and a song plane being stripped this weekend, so 2 more 757s should be done within a week...

No 763's? I'm flying AMS-JFK on December 20 and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I can get one with the new c/s, but with the current rate of repainting, I think it's going to be a wavy gravy 763.

Nope, you'll get either the wavy gravy scheme or maybe even the '97 Ron Allen scheme. Delta does have two 767's in the new livery (N125DL and N134DL, maybe N130DL, I can't remember), but both of these are the non-ER 767-300's that are used solely for domestic flights. Currently no 767-300ER is on the repaint schedule, even the 5 -ER's that are in the old-old '97 scheme.
Here are all the 767's that are in '97/Ron Allen colors:
Domestic 767-300's:
N122DL, N130DL (it was scheduled to be repainted in October, it may be in the new livery), and N143DA.
International 767-300ER's:
N1201P, N1604R, N1605, N172DN, N175DN
All other 763ER's are in "wavy gravy."
There are a few more domestic 767's scheduled for repaint this year: N130DL was scheduled in October, I don't know if its in the new colors yet (I can't open the Oct. 07 DL new livery thread); N128DL is scheduled for repaint this month; N138 and N139DL are scheduled for repaint in December.

All of them are in wavy gravy and I'm pretty certain that none are currently on the repaint schedule. The 757's and RJ's seem to be getting the most priority for repaint right now.

I was on a Comair CRJ-900 yesterday from ATL to CVG that was in the new scheme. The registration was N676CA. Judging by the new paint scheme and the super clean inside I think it may have recently been delivered.

I don't have any registrations but there are a fair amount of the RJs operating out of LAX in the new paint scheme. I saw quite a few last night out here and a bunch landing back in late July when I was out here then.

When DL takes delivery of its B772LRs, will those planes have the new "Communist Widget"* livery, or did they start to get painted before the livery change? Just curious.

(* Credit for the "Communist Widget" term goes an in-law of mine who works for DL.)

COMMUNIST WIDGET!?!?!?!

Wow, and I thought that calling it "Citgo" was bad...
You and your inlaws have taken this to an entirely new level.
Although, heck, what else do inlaws ever do???
The new paint is starting to grow on me, even if I do find it a little unimaginative. It's at least clean
I think these colors will look nice on the 777.

Can't wait to see the new paint here in Anchorage. We've only seen one 757 so far with the crooked widget.

As an aside, has anyone else noticed that the widget on the left side of the tail points to Northwest?
I think I smell a merger hint...

At least one has been painted, I saw it at ATL on September 29th, it was operating ATL-SFO. It already had a few chips in the paint job though.

I was unable to access the October thread - noted as archived, but I have pulled together this list based on my notes, apologies if a mistake has entered the data. I had not seen new photographs since early October and was waiting for one before I started the new thread.

There are about 28 Song aircraft still in operation, so they won't go away too quickly [see updated comment in next post].

Any additons, sightings or notes (especially from those on the inside) will make us all happy!

All Song 757's will be in new DL colors by the end of the year (2007). Anderson has made this the highest priority for TechOps. They will be outsourcing a few of these paint jobs to a company out in Victorville and one in Mississippi, IIRC.

I think he wanted all AC to say "Delta" on them in one fashion or another (regardless if they are the awful Ron Allen jobs).

We get none 767 300ERS here so maybe i may be lucky with a new paint job. But i think it will be a wavey gravey though.....

Once the winter schedule is in full swing, maybe some of the international fleet will be repainted into the new colors. For now, they are being used extensively, hence, not much time to repaint into the new colors.

Hey guys, anyone has the routings of the Pink 757? And why not.. the remaining Songs. I'll miss those green buggers when theyr'e gone, green looks cool on airplanes and more interesting than the new boring paintjobs.

Quoting 727LOVER (Reply 20):

for real. That livery has nothing to do with communism lol.. The 97/98 DL scheme is totally elegant. So much more classy than the fugly wavy gravy. The only angle I like the new colors are when the plane is flying overhead, since it doesn't look as white.

Quoting OB1504 (Reply 26):

Dang, that NE 727 looks so much better and simply so much prettier than the new DL colors. They (DL's) look terribly unappealing in comparison..

If Delta merged with Northwest, that would make a DL WN merger inevitable, since Delta's past includes "Eastern" "Northeastern " "ASA - Southeast", add in "Northwest" whos roots include "north central" leaves just Southwest and then they will have the whole compass covered!.... lol and speaking of compass...that comes with NWA too!

Watch out WN  rotfl

N6701, the former "Soaring Spirit" is the new colors too, saw it a couple weeks ago here in SLC.

Don't forget the 5 winglet 757s flying around, ships 6801-6805. N135DL the 763 may also be in the new colors, I though someone told me the saw that in the red widget livery.

As for N610DL, I was hoping they would give it a two-tone pink widget and pink titles, , but they didn't.

I flew out of Hartsfield on Sat, and there was a 757 with winglets and the new paint job right next to us. Missed the tail number. The tail widget is growing on me (I'm a devoted wavy-gravey fan, like I have nothing else to excite me in life), the fuselage is still too white, but overall, with the blue engines and blue winglets it is attractive, albeit not exactly memorable. (And the boob pink jet really needs a repainting; it was a few gates down from us. As my Italian friends might say: "faccia brutta"!)

Already on the list (the ones that end in TW in the 757-200 (Winglets) column).

And just as DL gets done repainting the fleet AGAIN, they will start all over and change paint schemes AGAIN. What is this every 3 yrs they get a new scheme? What is up with that? Talk about a waste of money. Maybe they should just go back to the awesome paint scheme of the early 90s and be done with it.

Hoping I'm going to get one of their new B738s for my flight soon. At the rate their B737s are being repainted, it looks highly unlikely.

This means that not only are they going to merge, but they're also bringing back the Northeast brand! Silly

Quoting DLOnur (Reply 19):
(regardless if they are the awful Ron Allen jobs).

As an aside to the main topic under discussion... When I walked past the Delta gates at PHX T3 during the early morning hours just 2 days ago (en route to the NW gates) I was surprised that most of the half dozen or so DL aircraft observed were in the (not so awful IMHO) 2-liveries-back "Ron Allen job." There was one ERJ in the new "Citgo" livery, one 737-800 in the "Wavy Gravy/Beach Towel/Deltaflot" livery, and everything else in the livery illustrated below with the paint still looking good in terms of lacking a well-worn look for a livery introduced 10 years ago and last painted fresh on any DL aircraft about 7 years ago (when the now next-to-current "Wavy Gravy..." livery was introduced):

Does anyone now have an updated list of Delta's aircraft in the new livery. I know that N710TW and N712TW were recently delievered, however, I don't know if they are in service yet and/or feature Delta's new livery.

As of 11/17/07 they both were still unpainted, one did have their winglets installed and the other had not yet.

DL is just amusing with their paintjobs, for years and years we'll have these threads as one scheme goes into another and it's the start of another 'New Delta' the joys! Here's to the future and many many more variations of red, blue and white.
Despite the name I am a Boeing man through and through!
