BA Backed Bid For Iberia Imminent

Thu Nov 08, 2007 1:04 pm

It seems that the TPG / BA bid for IB may come as soon as next week as they've managed to secure funding:

I wonder if they'll end up with a common fleet policy - A380s and 787 for IB then!

Edited to add work "backed" into heading

About bloody time.

Now let's get BA and Iberia merged, and AA antitrust immunity first with IB/MA/RJ, and then with BA, so that oneworld can get on to the business of competing with Star and SkyTeam on a level playing field for the first time ever!

Will BA make any changes to IB if they do merge. Iberia's inflight service is one area that needs looking at....
