First Bid For Iberia -LH Out Of The Race?

Thu Nov 15, 2007 6:43 pm

With a bidding price of 3.6-3.9€/share,the consortia s clearly going over what LH is ready to pay.
LH said that 3.6€Share would be much to expensive for Iberia.
So will BA and TPG be willing to top that offer?

If neither of the other 2 are I doubt BA will bother, they are much happier for Iberia to stay by itself

Since UX is involved on the local consortium offer, there might be restrictions from EU commission for a UX/IB merger on how it'd affect Spain domestic market.
